I entered the hospital on the 18th with a ruptured membrane, my baby is still holding strong, I am 24 weeks 4 days I have already gotten my steriods and they had to give me Magnesium sulfate to stop my contractions.I will b here until I give birth which my dr said wont go past 34 weeks, or he will HAVE to induce if I get infection. FWIW I had very strong and frequent (but painless) Braxton Hicks contractions from about 20 weeks. The point at which I also started having lower back pain was when I started going into preterm labour at 29 weeks. This isn't to say that having strong Braxton Hicks necessarily means preterm labour - it obviously doesn't!
